The continuing increasing prices of car insurance, Car Finance, car running costs and petrol has forced millions off the road, according to Sainsbury’s Car Insurance. The report states that 1.3 million drivers have had no option but to get rid of their car and be without one of life’s luxuries thanks to the ballooning prices.
It also states that 1 in 30 drivers have given up their cars over the past 12 months and that the average owner is now spending 23% more year-on-year to run their motor. The scary figures do little to rest the worries of almost every driver who is thinking about their finances; without a huge reduction in the price of insurance and fuel, it seems inevitable that more will follow suit.
